A&E was founded to provide an alternative to the VW pan for those who have an older kit that they are building and that they want to upgrade to a more powerful engine and to have better ride and handling. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all design, we build each frame individually so we can build it to your specifications. This includes giving you a variety of engine/transaxle and suspension options as well as being able to tailor dimensions such as ride height to exactly what you want. This also allows us to build the frame to fit your particular body as close as possible. We use off-the-shelf parts as much as possible. This makes it easier and less expensive for the builder to obtain the parts for the initial build and also makes replacement parts easier to get later. We can build your chassis to any stage of completion that you want from a bare frame to a full rolling chassis.
Our involvement in your project will not end when you take delivery of your new chassis. We will be available to answer any questions you may have or offer other assistance as you complete your build. So dig that old kit out of the garage and get it on the road with an updated frame and drivetrain.
